Feeding your little one a broad variety of healthy foods can contribute to his healthy growth patterns now and later.
It may take as many as eight tries for your baby to enjoy a new food. That’s why we created the Taste Tracker. It provides a fun easy way for you to keep track on the foods you baby has tried – and liked.
Remember that new foods must be given once at a time – don’t try to introduce your baby to spinach at lunch then try apricots for dinner. Once your baby accepts a new food, wait three days before moving on to the next so that you can watch your baby for intolerance.
Be sure to offer lots of different vegetables, fruits, grains and meats so that your baby learns to enjoy a variety of nutritious foods. For infants starting solids, foods must be cooked until soft then pureed to the proper texture for your baby. Do not add oil, salt, or sugar. Here’s a list of foods you can try:
