Your child is born with an immature immune system. Immunity develops over time, when the body encounters and deals with various germs. The immune system learns from these infections and your child’s body builds immunity for future exposures to the same germs

Many preschool moms will testify that children are quite susceptible to infections, because their immune systems are not fully matured yet. Up to 3 years, children are mostly at home and their exposure to germs is limited, however after three years old, they often venture into the big wide world, which exposes them to many more germs. Due to this higher demand, their immune systems need to adapt quite fast. We know that children’s immune systems are not as efficient as adults’ to resist the infections and can often take a longer time to recover.

Supporting their best

Mom, how can you help to support your child’s immune response to germs? The skin acts as a defence barrier and you can teach pre-schoolers to frequently wash their hands with soap to stop those germs from spreading. Boost immune systems with a good diet by supporting your child’s maturing immune system with good nutrition and special ingredients such as Bifidobacterium lactis, a lactic acid producing bacteria and HMO, which can help to increase their natural resistance to infections. Bifidobacterium lactis and HMO helps support a healthy digestive system (gut), and has been shown to increase a child’s natural resistance to infections and improve digestion.

The development of independent eating and when your child starts showing food preferences, coincides with increased exposure to the big wide world and this may cause some anxiety. Mom, we understand that you worry whether you child is getting all the nutrients they need. That is why we have developed a fortified drink, made specifically for children, to give you peace of mind.

NESTLÉ® NANKID® 4 contains the right nutrients to nourish your child's immune system for a strong foundation.

Look for NESTLÉ® NANKID® 4 for your 3 – 5 year old

IMPORTANT NOTICE. A-well balanced diet, both during pregnancy and after delivery, helps sustain an adequate supply of breastmilk. Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended during the first 6 months of life followed by the introduction of adequate nutritious complementary foods, along with sustained breastfeeding up to two years of age and beyond.

NESTLÉ® NANKID® 4 is not a breastmilk substitute. As babies grow at different rates, seek advice with your health professionals on the appropriate time when your baby should start receiving this product.
